Duck regatta is Sunday, May 27

Buy a duck or five to help keep Union County beautiful and fun. The fourth annual Union County Development Corporation Duck Regatta will be taking place a week from Sunday on May 27 at 2 p.m.
The event will take place at the Whitewater Memorial State Park Spillway, but tickets for ducks can be purchased in advance from the development corporation and its board of directors. Tickets are available from Brian Bias at J's Dairy Inn, Howard Curry at Patriot Sales, Julie Coffman at Parkside Realty, Diana Bourne at RMD Patti, Danka Klein at the Union County Foundation, Daniel Hubbard at Hubbard's CPA, Kim Harmeyer at First Merchants Bank and Tim Woodruff at Woodruff's Supermarket.
Those who purchase tickets will be eligible for one of three prizes. First prize will receive $500, second prize will receive $150, and third prize will receive $100. One duck/ticket can be purchased for $5 or five ducks/tickets for $20. Proceeds will go towards Union County beautification projects and event programming.
