Angie Ruther, supervisor of the Franklin County Health Department, is concerned about the steady rise of positive COVID-19 cases in Franklin County.

Ruther reported 60 positive cases of COVID-19 in Franklin County for the month of July, with three days still left in the month, resulting in the biggest spike ever for FC. Ruther wants to remind the community COVID-19 is still here.

“It is more important than ever to social distance, wash your hands, disinfect thoroughly and wear your mask in public,” Ruther said.
