Roy E. Stevens Gymnasium was filled with music, music, music last Thursday evening when the annual Union County High School Winter Concert performed under the direction of band director Mitch Hardy.

The two-part program began with four pieces by  the Jazz Ensemble under the direction of UCHS Band Director Mitch Hardy.
They performed “Hog Squealin’, Rip-Snortin’, Belly-Achin’ Blues” and “Blues Machine” by Michael Sweeney and finished with “Sesame  Street Theme” and  “Tenor Madness.”

The UCHS Concert Band played Lexington by King/Swearingen, Salvation is Created by Tschesnokoff/ Houseknecht, African Bell Carol arrangement by Robert W. Smith and Sleigh Ride.
