Union County returned to the win column with a 10-point, 47-37, victory over visiting Randolph Southern.

“We looked a little tired  after last night,” UC coach Alex McCool said. “But we did pretty well working the ball around tonight.”
Five different Pats scored in the lop-sided (13-9) first quarter and continued to share the ball to the end.

Hayden Alldredge paced UC with 10 points and a good back-up crew.

“Hayden (Alldredge) had a good game tonight offensively,” McCool said. “And very happy with our defense, especially after last night giving up 63 to Morristown.”

Jaden Bias and Keeghan Coyle both finished with eight points, Alex VanWinkle and Luke Paddock had seven each, Tate Swafford five and Zach Hill 2.
Junior guard Parker Retter was the game’s leading scorer with 17 while UC held the Rebels to 10 points or less in all quarters.

UC out-rebounded the Rebels, 25-13, with Jaden Bias claiming 8 rebounds.
