It’s hard to believe that another year has passed since we saw you last.
This is year number five since you were alive.
Sometime it seems like yesterday since you went away.
But each Christmas comes and goes, each with its highs and lows.
Of course we all enjoy as children gain another toy.
Christmas isn’t the same, though no one is to blame.
We still hold back a tear as we wish each other good cheer.
Mom, you always made Christmas great, and that we can say and not hesitate.
