James R. “Jim” Geiser passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018, at the age of 64.
His beloved significant other survives: Crystal Kuehn. Jim is the loving father of James “Jimmy” Geiser, Jody (Rodney) Barker, Amy (Steven) Totten, Becky (Mike) Lipp and Ron (Amelia) Geiser; cherished stepfather of Faith (Chandler Wilson) Strunk and Alexis Strunk; devoted grandfather of Braden, Cooper, Taytum, Corbin, Jordan, Jamison, Timmy and the late Alexis Geiser; adored brother of Joseph “Skip” (Anita) Geiser; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Nothing was more important to Jim than to spend time with his family and friends, which he loved to do and did very often. He loved being outdoors with his tractor, animals and working on the farm. He loved to spend time fishing, attending parties and sporting events, taking spur of the moment trips, and living life to the fullest.
Jim took extreme pride in his job as a machinist at Carr Tool Company, a job that he held for 45 years.
Jim will be greatly missed by all who got to know and love him.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 2, at Spring Grove Funeral Home, with the funeral following right after at Arlington Memorial Gardens. (Paid obituary)
