The Franklin County Health Department announced today receiving two new positive cases for COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases to 61. No further information about the patients will be released due to privacy laws.

Health Officials released four more patients from quarantine. Three individuals who had tested positive for coronavirus have since recovered and were released from quarantine. The fourth individual, a family member of one of the positive cases, showed no symptoms and was also released from quarantine.

“Including these three, 22 of the 61 citizens who tested positive for the virus have recovered,” said Health Department supervisor Angie Ruther, RN.
