The Franklin County Health Department on April 24, 2020, announced receiving one new positive case for COVID-19, bringing Franklin County to 93 positive cases. The new patient is an adult. No further information about the patients will be released due to privacy laws.

Health officials also announced that three more patients have since recovered from the coronavirus and have been released from quarantine, bringing Franklin County’s total number of recovered to 58.

“It is important to understand that the total number of 93 positive cases includes the 58 cases who have recovered,” said Franklin County Health Department Supervisor Angie Ruther, RN. “We are monitoring 28 current cases, including 4 known patients hospitalized on a ventilator,” continued Ruther.
