The Union County girls golf team won a pair of Tri-Eastern Conference meets last week at Liberty Country Club and picked up a non-conference win a week later. 

Playing in a 3-way meet with Lincoln and Tri High, the Lady Pats’ 178 beat Lincoln’s 249 and Tri’s incomplete team of three players.

Emma Kassens was medalist with a two-over par 37, and Peityn Gillman was one stroke back at 38.

Addie Pitcock led the Lady Eagles with 51. 

Kassens came back this week to earn medalist honors versus Monroe Central with a 2-over-par 37. Kassens finished the round with one birdie, five pars and three bogies.  

Carol Anne Kritsh and Arianna Poe both finished with 50 to lead Monroe Central.

Union County travels to East  Central on Thursday, Aug. 11, for a non-confence dual meet. 

The Lady Pats return to Tri-Eastern Conference play at Northeastern Tuesday, Aug. 16.
