In the intra-squad Wildcat Pride meet March 17, Franklin County was split up into Team Anthony Moore and Team C. Moore’s team ended up winning.

Seniors Grace Kruthaupt and Cam Smith were meet MVPs; Kruthaupt scored 7 points and Smith 6. Junior Sam Westerfeld also pointed 6.

“They have the ability to do a variety of events for FC, all the while performing at a high level,” said coach Joe Davidson of his senior duo. “Cam threw very well for it being the first time out.”

Smith won discus and shot put while Kruthaupt won high jump and the 100-meter dash. Jacob Schatzle (100), Denver Meier (400), Westerfeld (long jump) Zayne Reed (pole vault), Chad Cox (high jump) and Hunter Marshall (800) were other winners for the boys. Bailey Parkhurst swept the throwing events for the girls, Chloe Heffron won pole vault, Lauren Kelley the 400 and 800 and freshman Audrey Harper the long jump.
