She was born on July 26, 1955 to Albert and Ceattie (Feltner) Shoemaker in Connersville, Indiana.
Wanda graduated from Brookville High School in 1973 and from IUPUI in 1976 as a Qualified Medical Assistant. Upon graduating she went to work at Brookville Health Care for 44 years. She enjoyed reading and loved caring for her family.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Anthony “Troy” Transier, whom she married on November 22, 1993; her son, Andrew (Haley Morgan) Transier; siblings, Charles (Suzie) Shoemaker, Robert Shoemaker and Ann (Butch) Reinier; nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anita Shoemaker and brothers, Mark and Paul Shoemaker.
Friends may call from 11am until the start of the funeral service at 1 pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel, 1010 E. Main St., Cambridge City, Indiana 47327.
