Vendors who set up their booths around the quilts range from Never Done Fiber Farms of Connersville hosted by Joy Davis and Thirty-One, hosted by Carol Schweitzer. Beth Caudill brought an assortment of sewn items, and the Quilt Batts showcased numerous pieces, vintage items, magazines, books, and fabric pieces. Alongside the Quilt Batts, attending were the Indiana Extension Homemakers Association. This vibrant group brought along baked goods, various books and magazines, and small crafts.
Judy Drake, who is currently president of the IEHA, states that "I've been working alongside these ladies for years. It's fulfilling to know that we are providing a scholarship, we get to help with the Baby show, as well as the Red Barn. Our work is fun, whether it's for the town or for just us."
The show also provided two incredible events for attendees to watch, Bed Turning, hosted by Diane Singer, and live demonstrations from Tracy Burns, and Indiana Artisan. Diane debuted several pieces to the audience as well as narrated some background on the artist and how they chose to create their piece. Tracy Burns demonstrated original rug hooking and mentions that she is hosting classes soon.
Kappa Kappa Sigma provided food and drinks for the staff and attendees. Julie Bommer and Susann Wendel held the entryway down as they passed out pamphlets, entry ballots, and a sign-in sheet.
Some other important vendors to mention are Amanda Caudill, Jennifer Caudill, Lorna Jones, Rebecca Meyer, Joann Koch, and Donna Benning. Their booths debuted natural soaps, hand-made pillow designs, comfort loungewear, Tupperware, fabric panels, and two beautiful Silk Sari.
Thank you to everyone who helped the 2022 Quilt Show be a success.
