UC Girls golf win 3-of-4

The Union County girls golf team turned in good scores last week on the home course at Liberty Country Club. TEC opponents Northeastern and Knightstown both fell to the Lady Pats, 176 to 216 in the NE match and 176 to an incomplete Knightstown  team.

Peityn Gillman was medalist with 39. Northeastern’s best score was 44 from Lauren Lacey. Mady McClure finished with 46, Nora Robinson at 43, Melanie Goecke 48 and Aubrey Beck 51.UC got a win over Connersville in a 3-way meet Monday at Brookville's Brook Hill. The Pats shot 182 to the Spartans' 223; Franklin County won with 180 as Crystal Calihan shot 38. 

Blue River visits LCC today. The sectional is Monday at Richmond's Elks.

Northeastern (216) Lacey 44, Ava Bales 53, Julia Beatty 55, Ella Coddington 64, Baylee White 64. 

Knightstown (incomplete team). Savannah Tumilty 56, Raegan 60.
