Tap & Chisel Brew Fest Aug. 24

On Saturday, Aug. 24, Batesville Main Street will host the Inaugural Tap & Chisel Brew Fest at the corner of S. Walnut & E. George streets in the heart of downtown. Guests will enjoy unlimited tastings from various Indiana craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries while listening to live entertainment.

Over 15 brewers and wineries (with more being added daily) are participating in the event. 

Current participants include:

•West Fork Whiskey - Indianapolis 

•Hoppy Days Brewing - Glenwood 

•Traveler’s Point Distillery - Kirklin 

•Lil’ Charlies - Batesville 

•Moon Drops Distilling - Fortville 

•Quaff On! Brewing - Nashville 

•Distillery 64 - New Albany 

•Grand Junction Brewing - Westfield 

•Wizard Wines & Vines - Bloomfield 

•Brookville Brewing - Brookville 

•Hard Truth Distilling - Nashville 

•Columbus Area Classic Alers - Columbus 

•Ertel Cellars - Batesville 

•Backroads Vineyard - Laurel 

Live entertainment will be provided by Dan Gutapfel, Lone Wolf & Friends and Marissa Fullenkamp. 

Event admission

General Admission: General admission begins at 3 p.m. and allows up to three hours of unlimited tasting, sampling, entertainment, and a commemorative tasting cup to take home.

VIP ticket: The VIP Ticket is the ultimate Brew Fest experience. With early entry at 2 p.m., you’ll have a full four hours to indulge in unlimited tastings. There will also be access to a reserved seating area, complimentary bottled water and snacks, and a commemorative glass or koozie. But that’s not all. The first 40 VIP Ticket holders will have the exclusive opportunity to attend a “Beer School Class” provided by Creek Bottom Brewery. Confirmation emails will be sent in the order of ticket purchases to reserve a seat at the table. Once 40 VIP ticket holders are confirmed, this opportunity will no longer be available.
