A man of faith, Tom was an active member of the Orange Christian Church and frequented the New Salem United Methodist Church with his spouse. His agricultural expertise was honored with the Honorary FFA Farmer title for two consecutive years, and he was also recognized and honored with the Meritorious Award at the annual Rural-Urban Fayette County dinner. His community service included roles on the Orange Cemetery Board and as a member of the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department. Celebrating a half-century with the Orange Masonic Lodge, Tom’s community spirit excelled brightly. An avid Spartan sports enthusiast, golfer, and woodworker, Tom, alongside his wife, was a constant presence at his grandchildren’s academic and sporting events, showcasing his unwavering support and love.
