Patricia Lou (Reiboldt) Ruf, age 88, of Laurel died Friday, August 30, 2024 at Majestic Care of Connersville.

Born April 5, 1936, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Peter and Laura Ruby (Myers) Reiboldt.  On November 19, 1960, she was united in marriage to Lester C. Ruf, and he preceded her in death on April 5, 2015.

A homemaker and farm wife, she enjoyed gardening and cooking and was an excellent baker.  She also enjoyed working at the polls during election time.

She was a member of the Laurel Church of Christ.

Survivors include two children, Teresa (Rene) Meyer of Brookville; Bradley S. (Michelle) Ruf of Oxford, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, Kevin, Jason, Jared, Tiffany, Jacob, Summer, Sophie, Christy, Clint, Brooke and Brynn; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as a brother, Norman (Mary Ann) Reiboldt of West College Corner.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lester, she was preceded in death by two sons, Mike Hodgin and Ritchie W. Hodgin.

Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.  Immediately following visitation, she will be laid to rest at Laurel North Cemetery in Laurel.
