Introducing John Basler Acts

September 19, 2024 at 1:30 p.m.

John Basler is a voice actor from Southeastern Indiana who has a warm, rich, energetic, and upbeat vocal profile. Growing up, John would sing and perform anytime he could. However, that acting bug first bit him when he was on stage portraying several lovable characters. Donkey in Shrek the Musical? Yep, that’s John!

John is not a one-hit wonder type of man. No, despite being a busy dad to three children and loving husband to a wonderful wife, John hasn’t found a stage he didn’t want to be on. His expertise isn’t limited to the stage itself, though.

Previously an engineer, the now voice actor is also a bouncer, a chef, a coach, a hunter, a youth pastor, anything and everything, John brings to the table!

John can bring any piece to life, no matter what it is. Narration, video explanations, video games, commercials, animation, and even dubbing! All of these John has not only worked with, but made so unique and special, and entirely memorable.

Of course, when he’s not in a session or on a new project, John can always be found telling his kids some classic dad jokes - the ones where kids say are awful, but they actually find hilarious.

John defends his jokes by admitting that his kids adore the jokes and find them funny, even if they won’t admit it first.

In the past few years, John has acquired a plethora of happy clients, and some are pretty well-known names. You can also find samples of his work by checking out his website and watching the video uploads that are available.

Working with John isn’t going to be difficult, either. In fact, John offers a few perks such as same day turnaround on rush projects with light editing, available team sessions through Zoom, Teams, and Skype, he accepts MP3 and WAV files, and his delivery methods cover email, drop box and WeTransfer.

Professionalism has nothing on John anytime he steps up to the mic. He is talented, sharp, eager, dedicated, hard-working, and so effortlessly charming, genuine, and relatable.
