Corinne M. Johnson, age 99, formerly of Brookville, died January 17, 2025 at the Ernestine Raclin House in South Bend, Indiana.

Born August 13, 1925 ,in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Tony and Mary (Spaeth) Geis. She was a graduate of Brookville High School and the Miller Business School in Cincinnati, Ohio. She served as Court Reporter in Franklin County for 32 years, having worked for six different judges. On October 7, 1950, she became the wife of Howard E. Johnson, and they remained married for 45 years.

Mrs. Johnson was an active member of Saint Michael Catholic Church in Brookville, where she sang in the choir and was the organist for 15 years. She was active in the Daughters of Isabella and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. 

She is survived by her children: daughter, Sharon Agin; sons, Mark (Judy); Chris (Nicole), and daughter-in-law, Carol. She also has 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; son, Jeffrey; and son-in-law, Michael. Her siblings Harold Geis, Jay Geis, and Janet Conwell also preceded her in death. 

Rev.Vince Lampert, pastor of St. Michael Church, will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 24th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Church in Brookville. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. 

Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 on Thursday, January 23rd at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, located on 929 Main St., Brookville where the rosary will be recited at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Saint Michael Window Fund or to the Ernestine Raclin House, 501 Comfort Pl., Mishawaka, IN, 46545.
