Judith A. Holman, age 82, of Brookville, Indiana died Saturday, January 18, 2025 at St. Andrews Health Campus in Batesville, Indiana following a brief illness.  

Born July 27, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio, she was one of four children born to the late Victor & Catherine (Haubert) Buehler.  On August 28, 1968 she was united in marriage to Edward Holman, and he survives.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church; the Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  In her leisure time she enjoyed the opera, attending shows and concerts, and being with her family.

Besides Edward her loving husband of over 56 years; survivors include two sons, Michael (Becky) Holman of Brookville, Indiana and David Holman of Brookville, Indiana; a brother, Jerry (Patty) Buehler of Dayton, Ohio; her sister, Sr. Jeanette Buehler of Dayton, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Denise Buehler of Dayton, Ohio as well as a niece Angie Buehler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brother, Joseph Buehler.

Family & friends may visit from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Vincent P. Lampert will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 25, 2025, 11:30 A.M. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 145 E. St. Michael’s Blvd., Brookville.  

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church or the Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
