On Sunday, Oct. 10, community members showed up in a big way. The Kelsee Lainhart Ride gathered in Harrison to start the route, and community members were encouraged to line the streets along the way to show support for Lainhart via flags, signs or just a simple wave.
One spectator reported he counted at least 236 bikes and expected the number was much higher. Another community member said it took roughly ten to 15 minutes for the entirety of the riders to drive through main St. of Brookville.
The bike route left Harrison VFW at 12 p.m. from State Street to US 52 towards Brookville, (passed through New Trenton at 12:15 p.m., Cedar Grove at 12:25 with arrival in Brookville at 12:35p.m.). At 1:35 pm, bikes exited Brookville American Legion onto St. Rd. 52, making a right onto Blue Creek Road to St. Peters Rd. Then making a right to go westbound onto St. Rd. 46.
Arriving at Penntown intersection at 2:00pm. The group then turned left onto St. Rd. 101 to Sunman, to W. Vine St. to Spades Road, and continued on Spades arriving in Milan at 2:15 p.m. Then the group proceeded back to VFW traveling east on St. Rd. 46 to St. Leon at 3:15 p.m., then turned right onto St. Rd. #1. Then the parade of bikers turned left onto North Dearborn at 3:30pm for the remainder of the route via N. Dearborn all the way to Pinhook Road to VFW.
