Nadine Smith, age 82 of New Trenton passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. Born April 5, 1941 in Barbourville, Kentucky, the daughter of Henry and Nicee (Bright) Broughton.
Nadine, a member of Smyrna Baptist Church, married Woodrow Smith December 24, 1960 in Barbourville.
Nadine is survived by her children Sondra Smith and Danny Smith. Grandmother of Stephanie, Devon, Garrett, Cameron, Morgan and Courtney. Great-grandmother of Lillie, Colt, Brielle, Kinlee, Leighton, Lainey, and Tyson. Sister of Kathleen Mills, Lorene Barnes, Forstene Mills and Junior Broughton.
Preceded in death by her parents Henry and Nicee Broughton, husband Woodrow Smith, Son Darrell Smith and siblings Irene Mills, Lindsey, Lemon, Homer and Clifford Broughton.
Visitation was held Saturday, August 20, 2022 prior to the time of funeral services with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating, all at Smyrna Baptist Church, 4047 US 52 New Trenton, IN 47035. Burial followed at Glen Haven Cemetery Harrison, Ohio.
