Virginia Ann Turner, 88, of Anderson passed away on November 19, 2022. She was born on April 29, 1934, in Metamora, the daughter of Eli and Margaret Estridge.
Virginia enjoyed sewing and had been a seamstress. Virginia also enjoyed shopping, camping, and gardening. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren.
She was a member of Whetstone Christian Church in Anderson.
Virginia was preceded by her husband, James Turner, her son, Steven Turner, and her siblings, Linda Barker, Emma Lou Grimes, and Neal Estridge.
She is survived by her children, Terry Turner (Debbie) and Jenna Turner; her grandchildren, Derrick (Melissa) Turner, Christa (Ivan) Cole, Jackie Turner, Corey Turner, and Kelsey Colter; her 9 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Margaret Meyers, Martha Hunter, Larry Estridge, Dick Estridge, and Delbert Estridge; and her sister-in-law, Viola Benson.
A celebration of life service was held on Sunday, December 4. 2002, at Central Christian Church in Connersville.
