Spend a "spooky" night in the Haunted Village of Metamora

By Cassie Garrett-

The Haunted Village of Metamora began last weekend and will continue for the next two weekends, Oct. 21 and 22, and Oct. 28 and 29, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. each night for families to take a family-friendly guided tour and enjoy the tranquil canal. While visiting, experience a spooky night of ghosts and ghouls as you wander around the village of Metamora. A group of skeletons will meet you at the entrance of Metamora, where wristbands can be purchased. You'll start with a hay ride through the village and then be escorted throughout town. But beware, the hauntings can creep out from anywhere. The cost is $5 per person.

This weekend is one of the few weekends you will hear the whistle of the "Ghost Train of Metamora."

This family-friendly (no blood or gore) half-hour excursion is excellent for ghosts and goblins of all ages. As the train travels through the dark countryside, passengers will be haunted by characters from our ghost story.

This excursion runs out of Metamora, not Connersville. All seats are $10 for ages two and up.

Purchase tickets online at https://www.dynamicticketsolutions.com/.../index or phone at (765) 825-2054. The Metamora ticket office is located at 19056 Main Street, Metamora.
