FC boys get draw ahead of shutouts

In the 2023 season opener for Franklin County boys soccer Aug. 17, the team drew with Rising Sun at one goal each. Brody Morris was the scoring Shiner in the tie match.

The next two contests were shutout losses for the FC club. The Cats lost 3-0 to conference rival Batesville Saturday and 9-0 to fellow EIAC school Connersville Monday. Scoring for BHS were Ian Carpenter (2) and Talan Rowlett.

The team stayed in league play Tuesday at Greensburg (result not available) and hosts Richmond this afternoon.
