FC runners in action

Franklin County cross country attended the Hare and Hound Invitational hosted by Richmond Saturday.

Senior Devin Martin led the boys effort by placing 47th with a time of 22:08. Classmate Owen Darvish finished 58th (23:36).

A very young girls squad took to the course for the Wildcats. Freshmen Baylee Lambert was 43rd at 25:24 while fellow 9th graders Izzy Bennett (56th; 28:24) and Naomi Seals (57th; 28:28) also finished.

The Rushville Classic is Saturday.
