Oldenburg varsity volleyball earned a 3-set sweep over Switzerland County last Wednesday. Scores were 25-2, 25-14, 25-14. Senior Kate Weber had 10 kills, followed by freshman Ali Nobbe with 8, frosh Campbell Miles 6, Chloe Bohman 5 and sophomore Rachel Suttmann 3. Senior Kenlee Martin served 4 aces and classmate Bohman 3. Weber and Suttmann each had solo blocks. Senior Lilly Schebler led the defense with 9 digs as Martin scooped 8 and Weber 6. Martin set 13 assists and Weber 8.
Thursday was a tough 5-setter over Southwestern Shelby (25-18, 7-25, 22-25, 25-11, 15-11). Weber had 14 kills and Nobbe 8. Bohman added 7. Schebler had 5 aces and Bohman 4. Suttmann blocked 3 solo efforts. Schebler dug out 17 balls and senior Lily Dennis 11. Martin assisted on 20 points and Weber 14.
