Soccer teams battling

UC's boys soccer posted a 7-3 win at Rushville Tuesday after taking a 7-2 loss at Greensburg Saturday in a run of EIAC opponents.
Greensburg led 2-1 at the half before pouring in five more goals. Cy Miller, John Robbins and Jacoby Miller each scored twice for the Pirates. Caden Coffman and Aden Eversole provided the Pats' offense; Coffman and Landon Pearson had the assists. Freshman Aidan Vauthier collected 8 saves.
The Lady Patriots were shut out by Greensburg, 6-0, and got on the board against Rushville despite a 4-1 loss. Railyn Combs had a hat trick for the Lions in the second game. Freshman Kadence Rich did the same in the Greensburg match.
The boys are at Oldenburg today with a co-ed home doubleheader against Connersville Saturday.
