Valerie Leona Tindall

Valerie Leona Tindall 17, of Arlington, died June 7, 2023. Her remains were discovered November 28th and now her family can have closure to her passing. Valerie was born August 29, 2005 in Indianapolis. She is the daughter of Jack R. Tindall and Shena S. Sandefur. Her parents survive and will miss her every day.

Valerie would have been a senior at Rushville Consolidated High School and was scheduled to graduate in 2024. She tried many jobs after school and on weekends, including McDonald’s and Dominos, but she found enjoyment in lawn care. She had a smile that was infectious and she had a great sense of humor. She loved video games, singing, and spending time with family and friends. She loved her family and was great with her little cousins. Valerie loved animals and made it known she wanted to be a veterinarian. She left behind her favorite dog, a Boston terrier named Lacy.

She will be missed by her great-grandmothers, Rosemary Parker Creech of Somerset, Kentucky and Myrna Harvey of Indianapolis; her great-grandfather, Louis Carol Miniard of Indianapolis; maternal grandparents, Shannon and Tammy Miniard of Morristown; and paternal grandmother, Regina Wade of Beech Grove.

She also leaves behind siblings whom she was close to; brother, Jacob Ryan Sallee; sisters, Regina Gail Tindall, Jacquelyn Sallee, Brianna Leshay Burns, and Jackie Sue Tindall. In addition she will be missed by her aunts, Melissa Ann Haworth, Precious Joy Miniard, and Noelle Tindall; uncles, Michael A Sandefur and Shannon Eugene Miniard Jr; cousins, Devin Riley Haworth, Braiden Carter Haworth, Madisyn Paige Haworth, Bentley Douglas Barnett, Rae Anna Tindall, Brooklyn Stass, Sierra Nicole Sandefur, Michael A Sandefur Jr, Dominique Sandefur, Brittany Sandefur, and Brooklynn Sandefur.  

Valerie is preceded in death by her cousin Joseph (Joey) Tindall and her grandfather Jack Tindall Sr.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the Arlington Christian Church 2341 N. - 700 W. Arlington, IN 46104.  Pastor Gary Holt will offer words of comfort.  Friends are welcome to her visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
