Charles Stephen “Steve” Thompson, 62, of Liberty passed away Friday, December 8, 2023 at Reid Health of Richmond.

One of two children of Lloyd Stephen and Beverly Rose Herman Thompson, Steve was born September 2, 1961 in Greenfield, Ohio. 

A U.S. Army veteran, Steve served his country during the post-Vietnam war era.

On January 13, 1982, he was married in Oxford, Ohio to Arlene Angel; Mrs. Thompson survives.

For many years Steve was employed in the maintenance department for the Union County College Corner Joint School District. 

Steve was an avid deer hunter, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, and friends. His dog “Peanut” was his constant companion.

Survivors besides his wife of 41 years, Arlene Thompson include; a son Adam Christopher (Courtney Elyse) Thompson of Liberty; a granddaughter, Rilyn Elyse Thompson of Liberty; a sister, Susie (Frank) Bordelon of Plaucheville, Louisiana; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents. 

A celebration of Steve's life will be announced by the family. Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home is honored to serve the Thompson family.
