Back to School Bash provides student resources

The Batesville Area Resource Center and several non-profit organizations are holding its "Back to School Bash" for kindergarten through high school students on Sunday, July 30, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Back to School Bash is a community event offering students backpacks, school supplies, and clothing at no cost.

Batesville Area Resource Center (BARC) is a hub of social service agencies working together to support individuals and families in times of limited resources. The event is open to clients or future clients of any tenants at the Batesville Area Resource Center. This includes residents of the city of Batesville and the Batesville school district (northern Ripley and southern Franklin counties). The event will be held at the resource center at 920 N. County Line Rd. in Batesville. 

The community can help provide for these students and families by donating supplies, monetary donations, and gift cards to BARC.
