The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Center released a new mobile app called "Experience Batesville" that provides residents and visitors the complete 411 on the community.

The app can be downloaded by visiting your app store and typing "Experience Batesville IN." Once downloaded, the app provides anything and everything users need to know to navigate Batesville and includes the four following categories:

•Dine & Drink

The dine-and-drink category gives users an in-depth guide to local restaurants, bakeries, breweries, caterers, and delivery options. Users can click on several different sub-categories like "desserts" and "fried chicken" and find the best local options.

•Shop

The shop category provides an in-depth guide to local shopping, allowing residents and visitors to know where to go for any need from agricultural supplies to bedding.

•Events, Play, Stay

Hit this section to find out what is happening this weekend and all your lodging, travel and tourism needs.

•Live & Work

The live-and-work section, residents can find housing options, banks and financial institutions, employment opportunities, health care options, local churches and much more.
