Jodie Ann Winters, age 42, of Brookville, died early Wednesday morning October 25, 2023 at Caroleton Healthcare in Connersville, following a lengthy illness.

Born May 4, 1981 in Oxford, Ohio, she was the daughter of Donald L. & LuAnn (Simmons) Winters.  She was a graduate of Franklin County High School in Brookville.

Jodie had previously worked for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and also worked in the manufacturing sector.  In her leisure time she enjoyed animals, and flower gardening.

Survivors include her mother, LuAnn Winters of Brookville; a brother, Brian Winters of Ft. Wayne; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald L. Winters who died on June 30, 2020; a brother, Jason M. Winters who died on April 18, 1978; and her grandparents, Arthur and Audrey Simmons and George and Ellen Winters.

Family and friends visited on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Steve Rundel, pastor of Whitcomb United Methodist Church officiated the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.  Burial followed in Glen Haven Cemetery in Harrison, Ohio.
