Patricia A. Wehr, age 87, of Connersville died Monday November 13, 2023 at Forest Park Health Campus in Richmond, following a lengthy illness.
Born March 14, 1936 in Springfield Township, Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Dean and Mary (Glaub) LaMar. She was united in marriage to Harold E. Wehr on July 18, 1958, and he preceded her in death on February 1, 2012.
She was a member of the Farm Hill Extension Homemakers Club. In her leisure time she enjoyed crafts, flower gardening, and working outside in her yard.
Survivors include four daughters, Peggy Wehr of Everton, Vivian (Bruce) Carpenter of Monticello, Illinois, Karen Bolser of Liberty, and Melanie Watterson of Brookville; 10 grandchildren, Monica Pohlar, Morgan Wehr, Emily Carpenter-McClellan, Kyle Carpenter, Allison Steele, Samantha Bolser, Benjamin Bolser, Kayla Watterson, Megan Watterson, and Jenna Watterson; two great-grandchildren, Annabell Pohlar and Connor McClellan.
Besides her parents and husband, Harold, she was preceded in death by two sons, Ralph E. Wehr and Neil A. Wehr; two sons-in-law, Brian Watterson and Daniel Bolser; two sisters, Barbara Smith and Deanna Dunaway, and a brother, Joseph LaMar.
Family and friends visited Friday, November 17, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Ave., Brookville.
Rev. Steve Rundel, pastor of the Brookville United Methodist Church, officiated the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home in Brookville. Burial followed in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
