David Wilcox, Jr.

David Wilcox, Jr. passed on Friday October 6, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family at the age of 58.  David was born in Richmond, on July 9, 1965, the son of Hazel Jackson Wilcox and the late David Wilcox, Sr.

He graduated from Union County High School with the class of 1983 and received his Certificate of Completion from Connersville Area Vocational School in welding.  He was a member of the Liberty Masonic Lodge # 58 F.&A.M.

David retired from Visteon as a forklift driver and material handler.  He went on to become the owner/operator of Dave's Triangle in Quakertown.  When he wasn't tending to the store, you could find him crappie fishing, or hunting and he was an avid NASCAR fan.  David lived a simple life, and he treasured the time he spent with his family.  

In addition to his mother, Hazel, his love and memories will be cherished by his daughter, Danielle (Tyler) Ruppel; son Cody (Gabriella Agostino) Wilcox; fianceé, Christine Russell; brother by choice Gordon (Roseanne) Adkins; as well as many good friends, best friends and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home, 310 N Main, Liberty, on Friday October 13, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Chaplain Richard Byrd officiating.  Friends and family may gather from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Burial will follow at Abington Cemetery.

The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Union County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 294, Liberty, IN 47353.
