Timothy Wayne Rubush

Mr. Timothy Wayne Rubush, age 61, a resident of Belington, WV, departed this life early Friday morning October 13, 2023 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown.
Death was following a period of declining health. He was born April 24, 1962 at Richmond, a son of the late Richard Lee and Elma Irene Byrley Rubush. On August 14, 2016 he was united in marriage to the former Sharon Jean Cathell who survives at their home in Belington. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four stepchildren; Randi Riddle and husband Jacob of Illinois, Charles Zirkle and wife Becky of Elkins, WV, Jason Ware and wife Reagan of Volga, WV, Heidi Phillips and husband Oran of Parsons, WV.
Additional survivors include; one sister Rebecca Hollen of Elkins, WV, ten step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved, several cousins and a whole host of friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Rick Lee Rubush and Toby Duane Rubush.
Tim attended the schools of Illinois, graduating from the Findley High School in Findley, Illinois with the class of 1981. Tim spent many years working for Brach's Candy Company and formerly worked for Shop-N-Save and Hometown Care in Belington and was a great pool shot.
Tim attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Belington where he was very active in the activities of the church. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home 56 N. Brandenburg Street in Belington on Thursday October 19, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. On Friday October 20, 2023 Mr. Rubush will be moved to the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Belington where friends may call from 10-11 a.m. at which time a funeral service will be conducted from the church with Pastor David Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Cemetery near Belington. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church P.O. Box 564 Belington, WV, 26250. The Talbott Funeral Home in Belington is in charge of the arrangement for Mr. Timothy Wayne Rubush.
