September 13, 2023 at 12:05 a.m.

As a part of the annual St. Louis Church Festival, a "Festival Block Party" has been added to this year's event. The festival block party is Saturday, Sept. 16, from 5:30 - 11 p.m., and the annual festival is Sunday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

The block party will include a beer garden, a $5,000 raffle,  a "Barrel of Whiskey Raffle," kids games,  homemade ice cream and a country store.

"It's a great opportunity to celebrate with friends while enjoying great food, beverages and live music in a festive atmosphere," said Caleb Raab. "You will not be disappointed."

The whiskey barrel to be raffled is an old whiskey barrel that has been converted into a liquor cabinet. It comes with 10 liquor bottles, including Eagle Rare, Blanton's and Weller's Reserve Special. Tickets are $20 each, or six tickets for $100.
