Union County won the 2023 Tri-Eastern Conference Girls Golf playoff at Knightstown’s Royal Hylands Golf Club Saturday. In addition, the Lady Pats’ Peityn Gillman shot 78 to win medalist honors.
UC’s 369 18-hole team score finished first and four shots in front of runner-up Centerville at 373.
For Union County girls golf, it was a day well spent on the golf course with everyone contributing to the TEC Championship title.
Madysson McClure finished fifth overall with 93, Aubrey Beck was seventh with 97. Lady Patriot Melanie Goecke finished with 101. Nora Robinson 102 and Coach Ryleigh Kennedy and Mike Waltz wearing big smiles.
