Peggy Joan Liming

Peggy Joan Liming, formerly of Liberty passed away September 8, 2023, in Morristown.  Peggy was born May 7, 1934 to Chester M. Gulley and Pearl Alvey Gulley.  She graduated from Kitchel High School.  Peggy and Virgil Liming were married on November 27, 1952.  She worked at Bath State Bank for a short time before dedicating all of her time to being a homemaker.  Peggy was a former member of the Hanna's Creek Christian Church. 

She is survived by her daughter Cindy Dylus (Rob) of Greenfield; granddaughters, Melissa Gillam of Knightstown, Stephanie Ford (Brandon) of Greenfield, and Kristen Weddle (Jimmy) of Bloomington;  great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Dylan Ford, Brody and Ryker Gillam, Payson, Teryn and Aaron Weddle; brothers, Jack Gulley of Florida, Ronald Gulley (DeAnn) of Liberty; sisters, Sue Fields of Liberty and Sharon Fahlsing of Richmond; nieces, nephews and many friends. 

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband; son, Terry Liming; parents, and brother, James Gulley.

Memorial contributions can be made to:  Union County Foundation, Liming Memorial Fund, 404 Eaton Street, Liberty, Indiana 47353.

Funeral service for Peggy Joan Liming will be at 1p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, 312 W. Union Street, Liberty, Indiana 47353 with Kyle Gulley officiating.   Friends may visit from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Burial is in West Point Cemetery.
