David Russell, age 85, of Mt. Carmel died late Thursday, August 1, 2024 at his residence in Mt. Carmel.
Born March 6, 1939 in Clay County, Kentucky. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
David was retired having worked for much of his life in construction. In his leisure time he had enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Michelle Russell of West Harris, and a son, Jeffrey Scott Russell of Harrison, Ohio; six grandchildren; several great- grandchildren; as well as two sisters, Annette Shannon and Linda Cogar.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Private services will be conducted with interment in Kentucky at a later date.
