Rushville Regional Theatre to unveil intense drama with “12 Angry Jurors”

Rushville Regional Theatre is thrilled to announce the upcoming production of Reginald Rose’s classic courtroom drama, “12 Angry Jurors.” Directed by Aaron Scholl, this gripping tale of deliberation will be brought to life on stage Aug.16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m., and Aug. 18 at 2 p.m.

A cornerstone of American theater, “12 Angry Jurors” transports audiences into the claustrophobic confines of a jury room as 12 individuals grapple with the fate of a young man accused of murder. As tensions rise and prejudices are challenged, the jurors must navigate a complex web of doubt, evidence, and personal beliefs.

Scholl, a seasoned director with a passion for thought-provoking theater, brings a fresh perspective to this timeless play. “12 Angry Jurors holds a special place in my heart as it was my first lead role. Returning to this iconic play as director has been an incredible journey.
