Jerome “Jerry” Frey

Jerome “Jerry” Frey, 68 years old of Cincinnati, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Originally from St. Leon, Jerry was in the first class to graduate from East Central High School in 1974. An intelligent and hardworking student, he graduated with top honors while also playing football and baseball. After high school he took CPA classes, and then began working for the Fischer Body Plant for GM in Hamilton alongside his dad. He worked for several plants over the years and proudly retired after 30+ years with the same company.
Jerry had a big heart and adored his mother. He also loved keeping up with his many nieces and nephews, enjoyed watching their sporting events, and helping out as only a favorite uncle could. When he got the opportunity, Jerry took advantage of traveling and scuba diving.
Jerry will be deeply missed by his mother, Marjorie M. Frey; sisters Marlene (Ron) Dierckman, Dottie (Randy) Jansing, Debbie (Jerry) Rauh, and Linda (Marvin) Cox; nieces and nephews Scott (Christie) Dierckman, Brian (Michelle) Dierckman, Sarah (Nate) Spurlock, Jessica Dierckman, Andrea (Curtis) Gillman, Shawna (Ryan) Fackey, Rochelle (Derek) Heis, Scott Rauh, Brittany Rauh, Christa (Chris) Schutte, Sonja (Ryan) Richardson, Courteny (Caleb) Smith and 26 great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Edward G. Frey and brother Ronald J. Frey.
A private mass will be held for Jerry. Memorials can be made to St. Joseph’s Cemetery and Masses and can be sent to the funeral home. Family and friends are encouraged to leave condolences at www.andres-wuestefeldfh.com.
