ST. LEON – Oldenburg Academy boys soccer lost its 2024 opener to host East Central Saturday, 6-1.

It didn’t take long for the Trojans to strike, getting their first goal at the 35:09 mark of the first half. EC then added single goals in 10-minute intervals to go up 3-0 before Brennen Lewis scored again shortly after the third goal’s reset. It was 4-0 at the break. OA punched in a second-half goal to avoid the shutout.

OA’s home opener is Friday vs. Jac-Cen-Del.
