New Dollar General 12 miles from Liberty set to open soon

The eagerly anticipated Dollar General store at 8035 Pea Ridge Road in Brookville has been in the works for several months and is finally nearing completion. The grand opening of the store is expected within the coming month. The Dollar General is only 12 miles from Liberty, making it not only accesible to the residents of Union County, but also for tourists staying at Quakertown State Recreation Area.
“Our customers are at the center of all that we do, and meeting customers’ needs is Dollar General’s top priority when choosing store locations,” said Emma Hall, Dollar General’s public relations coordinator. “In selecting store sites, we take a number of factors into consideration, carefully evaluating each potential new store location to ensure we can continue to meet our customers’ price, value and selection needs. We further strive to provide convenience for customers who may not have affordable nearby retail options.”
The store will employ approximately six to 10 employees, depending on the store’s individual needs.
