Grover “GC” Anderson

Grover C. “GC” Anderson, 88, Morgan Township, passed away Friday, Dec 6, 2024. Grover was born June 5, 1936 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, to Dewey and Cynthia (Spencer) Anderson. Grover was employed by Ford Motor Company and retired in 1991 after 30 years of devoted service. An avid hunter and love for the outdoors, Grover was a long-time member of the Butler County Coon Hunter’s Club and NRA. A huge fan of the Reds, Bengals and UK Wildcats, but more than anything, Grover loved attending grandkids’ and great-grandkids’ activities and attending Ross Baptist Church. Grover was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Leona (Woods) Anderson, his children, Debbie (Mitch) Sauerland, Lisa Haynes, Grover (Rhonda) Anderson, Larry (Kim) Anderson, Wayne (Elaine) Anderson; his grandchildren, Brian Sauerland, Renee Sauerland, Chasity (Chris) Metz, Brandon (Amanda) Anderson, Josh Anderson, Jennifer Marsh, Cody Anderson, Cheyenne Anderson; his great grandchildren, Ariam Sauerland, Andrew Sauerland, Brooklyn Hall-Sauerland, Alyssa Metz, Michael Metz, Kashton Marsh, Denver Marsh, Sunnie Marsh, Aubrie Anderson and Owen Anderson; his siblings Ann Stevens, Clay (Pam) Anderson, Doris Reese, and Faye (David) Lillibridge. He will be missed by many friends and extended family. Grover was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson James C. Haynes, his siblings, Ronnie, Charles, Dewey, Earl, John, Leonard, Douglas, Edna and Myrtle Anderson, Jean Bowling and Geraldine Bogolo.
Visitation will be held at the Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Ave. Hamilton, Ohio on Thursday December 12, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Millville Cemetery.
