Shirley L. Sharp, age 93, of Brookville passed peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Mercy West Hospital in Cincinnati.
Born August 9, 1931, in Cincinnati she was the daughter of the late John M. and Alma (Teepe) Schleicher. On April 22, 1950, she was united in marriage to Milton L. Sharp, and he preceded her in death on January 18, 2013.
Shirley was a homemaker; and had also worked at the former Shillito’s Department Store in Cincinnati. In her leisure time, she enjoyed nature, bird watching, and travelling.
Survivors include five children, Karen Patterson, Sandra Sharp, David Sharp all of Brookville, Timothy Sharp of Scottsdale, Arizona and Michael Sharp of Brookville; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Schleicher of Cincinnati.
In addition to her parents and husband, Milton, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Kay Sharp, who died December 14, 2013; and a brother, John Schleicher.
Private services were held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
