Walter Delaney beloved husband of 67 years of Betty Delaney (nee Studt). Loving father of Sharon Durham, Bob (Julie) Delaney, Mary (Dan) Marks and the late Gary (Liv. Liz) Delaney. Devoted grandfather of Brandi, Scott, Rob, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Daniel and Maleah. Great-grandfather of Cassidy, Dominick, Aiden, Arabella, Kennedy and Cooper. Dear brother of the late James Delaney II. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Dear friend of Gene Hurt and Hershel Potter. Walter served in the US Army was a Korean War Veteran and a member of the  VFW and Cheviot American Legion. Passed away January 24, 2024. Age 91. Visitation Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave., Westwood. Burial with military honors followed at Bridgetown Cemetery.
