Angela Lynn Schuman, of St. Peters, was born on July 23, 1965, in Batesville, a daughter to Larry and Clare Schoettelkotte McCool. She married Ron Schuman on April 7, 1984, at St. Nicholas Church and together they purchased a home and acreage in St. Peter's where they started their family. Angie was very active with St. Peter's Church as a member of the Ladies Sodality, a choir leader, and many councils over the years. She always found time to share her many talents within the church and community of St. Peter's and even worked as a hairdresser at the St. Francis Convent in Oldenburg, a job she loved. Angie was also active in the Special Olympics, volunteering as R.O.D. coordinator, and starting the equestrian program with her daughter-in-law. She enjoyed spending time with the grandkids and horses, making quilts, gardening, and freezing and canning items from her garden. On Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 58, she passed away at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Angie will be deeply missed by her husband Ron Schuman, children, Kurt (Katie) Schuman of St. Peters, Brandon (Sarah) Schuman of Guilford, and Randy Schuman of St. Peters; grandchildren, Clare, Addie, Jaxon and Kinsley; mother, Clare McCool; siblings, Connie (Joe) Selm, Laura (Doug) Anderson, and Larry McCool, several nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
