Sue Ann Scott

Sue Ann Scott, 87 of Indianapolis, passed away on December 25, 2023 in Indianapolis. She previously lived in Manilla and Arlington area in Rush County. Sue was born on March 24, 1936 in Rush County to the late Kyle and Emma Katherine (Edwards) Thrall. She married George Scott on July 20, 1985 and he preceded her in death in 2007. Sue worked in Indianapolis at RCA for over 20 years as the group leader in line work. She was an avid bowler. 

Sue is survived by her sons, Gary (Dawn) McDonald of Franklin and Philip Gene McDonald of Waldron; daughter, Sherrie Ann Sauer of Knightstown and step daughters, Carol (David) Lamb of Farmland and Lucy (Bill) Moit of Carmel; brother, Donald “Richard” Thrall of New Castle. She will also be missed by her grandchildren Shelby (Brian) Montgomery and Kyle McDonald; three great-grandchildren, Lillie and Grace McDonald and Charlotte Montgomery.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, David McDonald, brother, Jerry Lynn Thrall and step-son, Ralph Scott. 

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Moster Mortuary. Friends visited the family until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial was held in Manilla Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rush County Humane Society.
