Supper every Monday, Tuesday and Friday 5 - 8 p.m.

Jan. 11- Executive Board Meeting.

Jan. 13 - Mid-winter Conference 8 a.m. at the Marriott in Indy on 21st street.

Jan. 18 -  Post meeting 1930

Jan. 21-  Brunch 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.

In addition to the above mentioned daily events, we have been working diligently  on the Freedom Cafe’s  lunch menus thanks to Roxann Hatfield, Valerie McGowan, Rosie Rummel and Mary Griffin. Thank you for all your hard work. More help would be greatly appreciated from anyone else that would like to volunteer some time.

Someone will have an opportunity to receive a free lunch in January.  Have lunch today and at the end of December someone's lunch ticket will be drawn and the number at the top will give them the opportunity to receive a free lunch in January.

Other changes forthcoming began Jan. 1 with corned beef,  smoked sausage cabbage soup.  Other days of operation will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday supper  5-8 pm.

Our club permit was issued Nov. 9, 2023.  We can  now serve beer, wine and liquor.

MESSAGE FROM THE COMMANDER

All Legionnaires and Veterans, Sons and Auxiliary  welcome aboard.  We  have made steps moving forwards to continue this remarkable journey to make this post a place to remember.

2023 has been a busy but an exciting year for the post. We have continued to make progress on the renovations.  We received our club permit, our non-profit status and our entertainment permit.

We are continuing  to make progress on the outside of the building and the Ron Copple Cantina. The walls in the Cantina are almost finished. We have been repairing the holes in the floor. Bryce Hatfield and Jr. Newton have helped with some of the remaining drain plumbing; big thanks to them.

With 2024 approaching and with everyone's help, we can only hope we can be as productive as 2023.

Thanks to everyone for their help

If you know a Legionnaire or a veteran, spread the word of our plans and accomplishments.  Invite them to come by and visit.
