Rev. Alfred Crisman

Rev. Alfred Crisman, age 79, of Bright, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 in Cold Spring, Kentucky.

Born the son of William and Delphia (Watkins) Crisman on June 16, 1944, in Knightstown. Rev. Alfred was a graduate of Manilla High School and married Judith Newman on September 29, 1962, in Rushville.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church Bright and pastor of Smyrna Baptist Church for many years.

Rev. Alfred is survived by his five children, Kevin Crisman, Kim (Ken) Elliott, Robin (Dan) Conley, Kristy (Eddie) Wigginton, and Pastor Shawn (Nicole) Crisman.  He was the grandfather to Brandi, Blake, Kristian, Kraig, Korey, Morgan, Courtney, Kaitlynn, Hannah, Dylan, Courtney, Eddie, Broc, Rebecca, Natalie, Sophia, and Bryson.  Rev. Alfred is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren, Kiane (John), Kyara (Dylan), Gage, Alexsia (Castle), Arina, Avery, Gavin, Oliver, Camden, Maddox, Landrie, Keaton, Asher, Bowen, Brielle, Rylan, Tyson, Colt, Lanie, Makennah, Lukas, Logan, Brynlee, Beckham, Barrett, Jayden, Marleigh, Miles, Ryleigh, Isabelle, Marshall, Gabe, Daisy, Lincoln, Delilah, and Oliver, and three great-great-grandchildren, Scout, Sunny, and Sloane.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Delphia Crisman, his beloved wife Judith Crisman, and his three brothers, Delbert Crisman, Wayne Crisman, and Billy Crisman.

Visitation was held Friday, January 12, 2024, until time of funeral services at 7:00 p.m., with Pastors Tim Collins and Jeff Edwards officiating, all at First Baptist Church Bright located at 1920 North Dearborn Road, West Harrison, Indiana 47060.  A burial took place at Arlington East Hill Cemetery, 6350 US 52 Arlington, Indiana 46104.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Rev. Alfred Crisman to First Baptist Church Bright, 1920 North Dearborn Road, West Harrison, Indiana 47060.
